The Government of the Kingdom of Eswatini has engaged Inyatsi Construction to rehabilitate Nhlangano T-Junction (KaMjuda) – Nhlangano Sun Hotel (MR11) Road.
This is according to a statement by the Ministry of Public Works and Transport through the Principal Secretary Thulani Mkhaliphi. He said the total length of the road to be attended to is three kilometres and the project scope of works shall include the rehabilitation and widening of the existing road, as well as the construction of a traffic circle at the intersection of the MR11 and Sikhonkwane Road.

“The implementation period of the project is five months, with completion earmarked for August 25, 2023,” he said.
Mkhaliphi said motorists are informed that there shall be traffic flow interruption as of Tuesday, April 11, where traffic shall be moved away from MR11 to the adjacent deviation roads.

He said the section of the road to be affected is between the Nhlangano Sun Hotel and Masabalala Street in Nhlangano Town. Mkhaliphi said for the duration of the construction, the contractor shall ensure that temporary (Roadworks) Signage informing road users of the ongoing construction work are in place and that flagman is deployed to assist in the safe flow of traffic on the affected part of the MR11 Public Road.
He urged all road users to drive cautiously on the affected road sections and adhere to all road signage on site to avoid accidents. “Any inconvenience caused by the ongoing works is regretted,” he said.
