Jubilation was the order of the day at Ludzidzini as the worshippers danced and praised throughout the day, starting from early in the morning.

The service began with a new committee of treasurers being announced by Ludzidzini Governor Themba Ginindza, followed by the women queuing up to bring their offering to Her Majesty.

The pledges and offerings during the service were so extensive that one of the highest offerings made was E18 000, which came from one worshipper.

The service, which lasted close to over five hours, was characterised by a lot of worshipping and praise from the women as they partook in what is known as the Lukhenye Service.

Indlovukazi’s arrival at the mounted tent where the women were worshipping was welcomed with ululations and adoration from the women who had come to worship, concluding the Saturday service. The main day of the Easter services is set for today.
