The highlight of today’s matches was at the Prince of Wales Sports Ground where Mbabane Swallowsput listless Tambankulu Callies to the sword with a 6-0 bashing as talisman Felix ‘Fela’ Badenhorst snatched a hat-trick to take his goal tally to 20 goals in 20 games.
Badenhorst missed two games due to suspension early this year. The win took the Swallows of Mbabane to within two points of Green Mamba who have 49 points. At the bottom of the table, Manzini Wanderers gave themselves a fighting chance to avoid the dreaded relegation axe when the hub giants held Royal Leopard to a goalless draw at Mavuso Sports Centre to move four-points away from the drop zone.
