The Youth Enterprise Revolving Fund (YERF) has awarded eight successful applicants with a total of funding amounting to E625 000.
The fund revealed the beneficiaries on Friday, April 14, where each successful applicant was presented with a replica cheque.

The Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Harries Madze Bulunga has previously stated that the applications for the Youth Fund can now be submitted throughout the year instead of quarterly.
This follows the reviewal of the application process after noticing less uptake of applicants. The fund is also working on reviewing the application requirements to ensure the process is more accommodating and to further increase the approvals.

This comes after backlash from Members of Parliament and commentators over the current requirements to access funding, which they have deemed nearly impossible to achieve.
The recent beneficiaries awarded on Friday were Mbuso Dludlu, Sandisiwe Nkambule, Melusi M Dlamini, Bongane Mavuso, Nhlanhla Dlamini, Muzi Nhlabatsi, Londiwe Ndlangamandla, and Vukani Ntiwane, among others.
