A 48-year-old man has been arrested for being in the illegal possession of a bushbuck which is considered a Royal game.
On May 1 in the Mnyokane area, Sithula Disco Mnisi of Ekufikeni was arrested and charged with contravening Section 8 (4) (5) Game Act of 1953 for having a bushbuck without a permit.

The bushbuck is reported to have been on the lawful property of Mondli Dlamini and details of how Mnisi got his hands on it will be unpacked before the court.
Appearing before Magistrate Xolile Nxumalo at the Mbabane Magistrate Court, Mnisi told the court that he intended to plead guilty to the crime.

The crown moved an application to set a trial date, however, bail was not opposed, to which Mnisi also moved an application.
Bail was granted at E1 000 on condition that he did not commit a similar offence, not interfere with state witnesses and not evade trial or remand hearings. He is set to return to court on May 19 pending trial on May 23.
