The Ministry of Public Works and Transport has invited local, eligible, suitably qualified, and capable electrical contractors for the wiring and rewiring of government buildings throughout the country.
According to the invitation to tender these electric contractors must be registered in the Eswatini Construction Industry Council (CIC) and they would be wiring and rewiring school buildings and staff houses.
The invitation stated that the tenders would be for five different primary schools in the Shiselweni and Lubombo regions. These are, Nyamane and Bambitje Primary schools in Shiselweni, Mdumezulu Primary School in Lubombo, Lanjani Primary School in Lubombo, Ngonini Primary in Lubombo, and Bekezela High School in Lubombo region.

The invitation states that the tender packages would be divided into four different projects.
“Tender package A will be the wiring and school building and staff houses at Nyamane and Bambitje Primary School in the Shiselweni region, and package is for Mdumezulu Primary School in the Lubombo region,” reads the tender invite.
The invitation said that tender package C this tender would be for the wiring and rewiring of the school buildings and staff houses at Lanjani Primary School in the Lubombo region and tender package I would be for Bekezela High School and Ngonini Primary School in the same region.
The tender invite further mentioned that the tenders were suitable for electrical contractors classified under the categories stated above for each Package as per the Eswatini Construction Industry Council (CIC) 2023/2024 FY register.
“This tender advertisement is also available on the Eswatini Government website at www.gov.sz,” read the invite. According to the invitation, tenderers should note that there shall be a compulsory pre-tender briefing meeting which will be held at the Ministry of Public Works and Transport Main Conference Room on October 30, 2023, starting at 10 am.
The Tenders must be delivered to the offices of the Eswatini Government Tender Board, Treasury Building, Mhlambanyatsi Road, Mbabane, Eswatini by 9 a.m. on the deadline of each package.
