Star-studded lineup for Limuva Arts Festival Comedy Night

Comedy lovers are in for a treat and endless laughter as Limuva Arts Festival Comedy Night will be invading Pigg’s Peak intending to leave patrons in endless stitches.

This event will take place at the Subway Restaurant and Bar in Pigg’s Peak on December 15, 2023, which will mark the official opening of the venue. The comedy show boasts a carefully curated lineup of comedic geniuses, talented musicians, and captivating poets.

It will feature an ensemble of comedic talent that is sure to dazzle fun lovers. Attendees are set to laugh out loud with performances from renowned comedians such as Gogo Eswatini, S’lwane, Bongiswa, Darren, Gedlembane, and the hilarious Magongo the Comedian. These comedic maestros will have comedy lovers rolling in the aisles with wit, charm, and side-splitting humour.

Joining the lineup are wordsmiths Mavara Lepoet, Christian Maz, and Khayalethu the Poet, who will captivate audiences with their poetic prowess. Adding to the extravaganza are the talented M Nation and Samu Once Again, who will serenade the crowd with their melodic tunes.

Tickets for this soon-to-be unforgettable night of entertainment are available at E100 for general admission, E150 for VIP access, and E40 for kids. According to Limuva Arts Festival Director, M Nation, this event serves as a platform for both emerging and seasoned local artists to showcase their talents. It also aims to foster a deeper connection with the region’s rich cultural heritage while influencing buying patterns within the community.

The Limuva Arts Festival encompasses six exciting segments, each offering a unique experience. The Food Fest will tantalise taste buds with a diverse range of culinary delights from local vendors in the marketplace. Kasi Stayela will showcase the latest fashion and style trends, while Kasi Biskop will feature a selection of Pigg’s Peak’s finest short films.

The Hholohholo Awards will honour outstanding contributions to the arts, and Kasi Lingo will entertain audiences with comedy, poetry, and drama performances. Lastly, the Umngani Musical Experience will provide a captivating showcase of local musical talents.

The festival will also offer an opportunity to shape Piggs Peak’s identity and contribute to peace, talent development, poverty alleviation, and socio-economic growth. It will also serve as a reminder of the power of the arts to bring people together, uplift spirits, and create lasting change.
