“Ezamzukwana, ezamzukwana, ngikhumbul’ ezamzukwana.” In a whirlwind of music and energy, South African sensation Aymos sang as he brought the house down at Polar Park Guest Lodge, leaving fans in awe and dancing the night away.
Originally set to perform at Mega Lounge, a last-minute change of venue only added to the excitement as fans were shuttled to the new location free of charge.
Taking the stage at 1 am, Aymos captivated the audience with his electrifying performance, drawing comparisons to a stadium show despite the intimate setting.
Fan favourite songs like ‘Emcimbini’, ‘Fatela’, and ‘Mama’ had the crowd on their feet, while ‘Izenzo’ took the energy to new heights.
What set Aymos apart was his interaction with the audience, from high-fives to selfies, he made sure every fan felt a part of the experience.
One attendee, Mangaliso Dlamini, summed it up perfectly, saying, “Aymos’ energy was brilliant. It felt like we were at a sold-out stadium show, not a small venue.”
Despite a late start due to the venue change, the night was a success thanks to a stellar lineup of performers including Selector, Tap Tap, Virus, Yeka Dj, and the Mega Lounge All Stars.
