A 30-year-old man from Ezulwini was charged with the offence of contravening section 91 (5) as read with Section 122 (2) of the Road Traffic Act 6 of 2007
The man appeared before the Magistrate Court and it was said that on April 10, 2024, near Mangwaneni roundabout in the region of Hhohho, the accused was the driver of motor vehicle AXSD 838 DH Toyota.
He wrongfully and unlawfully drove the said motor vehicle along MR 3 Public Road whilst under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drug having a narcotic effect (alcohol content 0.65 mg/l) and thus contravened the above-cited Act.

On the second count, the accused was charged with the offence of contravening section 23 as read with Section 122 (7) of the Road Traffic Act 6 of 2007.
On that same mentioned date at Mangwaneni, the accused being the driver of motor vehicle AXSD 838 DH Toyota sedan did wrongfully and unlawfully drive the said motor vehicle along MR 3 Public Road and failed to produce a driving licence.
The driver was charged and fined E1500 or imprisoned for 5 years. while another accused was charged with the offence of contempt of court.
In the Mbabane Magistrate Court, in the district of Hhohho, the said accused person wrongfully, unlawfully and intentionally failed to comply with the Magistrate Court Order while duly warned to do so and thus committed the said offence.
