Asitsi Nkwe ekulweni nebucala!
The Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) as fueled by the royal command of “Nkwe”, has opened a new Police Post at Ngwane Park Shopping Complex, which was constructed in partnership with OK Foods.
The new Police Post is said that it will serve as a hub for enhanced security and faster emergency response in the nearby areas.
During the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, a REPS officer recognized as Senior Superintendent Simelane, who is the Regional Operations Officer in Manzini,
Took the podium on behalf of Acting National Commissioner Lydia Dlamini and expressed the police force’s heartfelt appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the entire team that made the project a reality.
In his speech, Simelane emphasized REPS’ devotion to building strong relationships with the community and ensuring the safety and well-being of all who call Ngwane Park home.

Municipal Council of Manzini Mayor, Nozipho Dlamini-Gamedze commended the great work done, and expressed her hope for a noticeable reduction of crime in the City’s busy suburb.
“This facility will provide enhanced safety and security for the residents in Ward 4.” She said. In her speech, the Mayor mentioned that the Police Post was an example to Manzini City’s investment in the safety and security of its residents.
She added, “As the City of Manzini, our mission lies in the ethos embodied by our “NKWE” mandate.
” She then urged community members to promptly report crime incidents to help reduce the rate of crime in Manzini.

Further, Manzini Ward 4 Councilor, Xolani Masuku in his speech, expressed the Ward’s heartfelt gratitude to OK Foods for their kind sponsorship and dedicatio to the safety and well-being of the diverse and vibrant community.
“We are very grateful to OK Foods for this generous sponsorship and their dedication towards ending crime in Manzini,” Masuku said.
The Director of OK Foods, Lincoln Motsa highlighted that this initiative was OK Foods’ way of contributing to the community and showing their support for the Police Service who work tirelessly to keep Eswatini Safe.
“We believe that by providing the Police Service a fully-fledged Police Post with a dedicated space, REPS can better serve and protect the community,” Motsa expressed.

He added that he hopes this gesture will inspire others in the business community, who are in the quest for collective safety, to do the same.
“The facility comprises three essential rooms; a service room for welcoming all individuals, a consultation room for private discussions, and a hold room for those who have transgressed the law.”
Further stated Motsa. “This strategic location will increase police visibility, ensuring the safety of our customers and community members.
Construction of this building took us 2 months to complete, and we paid close to E250 000 Emalangeni.”
