Eswatini-born sensation Uncle Waffles is set to make a triumphant return to her roots for a highly anticipated performance.

The global superstar, renowned for her chart-topping hit ‘Tanzania’, will take centre stage at the upcoming Pop Sunday: Dragon Den event, scheduled to take place at Albert Millin on May 26, 2024.

Fun lovers are in it for a day filled with music, magic, and memories as Uncle Waffles graces the stage from 11 am to 10 pm, promising an unforgettable experience for all in attendance.

” This performance holds special significance as it will be the artist’s third time returning to her homeland, a testament to her unwavering connection to her roots despite her global acclaim.

Having previously graced the Pop Sunday stage to rapturous applause a year ago, Uncle Waffles’ return promises to be a moment of pure magic and musical brilliance.

Lungelihle Zwane, known professionally as Uncle Waffles, is an Eswatini-born DJ and record producer based in South Africa.

She is noted for her work in the Amapiano genre and her dance abilities, with Billboard describing her as the ‘Princess of Amapiano.’

Her debut single, ‘Tanzania’, reached number one in South Africa, where it is certified 7x platinum.

Her journey has led her to headline on some of the world’s most prestigious platforms, notably Coachella, where she made history as the first-ever amapiano act.
