The Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) has successfully concluded an essential training course in Police Practice and Law, conducted at the Matsapha Police Academy.
The course was officially closed by Senior Assistant Commissioner Vusi Gama, who emphasized the importance of the training in equipping police officers with the necessary skills and knowledge.
“I am confident that the course has equipped you with the highest degree of professionalism, bearing in mind that your primary responsibility is to protect life, property, and uphold the rule of law among others,” Gama stated.

In his remarks, he highlighted the critical role that continuous professional development plays in enhancing the effectiveness and integrity of the police force.
According to a statement released by REPS, the Police Practice and Law course is part of the broader training initiatives which are set to ensure that police officers are well-prepared to serve the community with excellence.
REPS says the course provided an in-depth understanding of the legal framework within which the police operate, and it ensured that officers are well-versed in navigating the complex legal landscape and upholding the highest standards of law enforcement.

Senior Assistant Commissioner Gama congratulated the participating officers for their dedication and hard work throughout the course.

The Police force has been engaging in various trainings which they said are to equip the police officers as they conduct their day-to-day services which is combating crime in the Kingdom.
