FINCORP issues warning against circulating fake job offers

The Eswatini Development Finance Corporation (FINCORP) has issued a stern warning to the public about fraudulent individuals falsely claiming to represent the organization and offering fake employment opportunities.

The statement, issued by Manqoba Makhubu, FINCORP’s Brand Development and Communications Officer, addresses a growing concern regarding these deceptive practices.

In recent weeks, there has been an alarming trend of scammers using the names Mrs. Dlamini, Mrs. Fakudze, and Mrs. Dvuba, among others, to circulate messages promising immediate employment to unsuspecting individuals.

misleading parents into believing they need to act quickly to secure jobs for their children and convincing job seekers that they have legitimate connections with FINCORP.

Makhubu emphasized that these messages are entirely fraudulent and have no association with FINCORP.

He clarified that these individuals have no authority to offer employment on behalf of the company.

FINCORP subscribes to a fair, transparent, and full recruitment process. We do not make unsolicited job offers via text messages or phone calls,” he stated.

The public is urged to exercise caution and avoid engaging with individuals making such false promises. Makhubu advised that if anyone receives a suspicious message or encounters individuals claiming to represent FINCORP, they should alert the company’s offices immediately.

“Your vigilance will help protect others from falling victim to these scammers,” he added.

FINCORP said that they remain dedicated to upholding the highest standards of integrity and ethics in all its dealings.

The organization appreciates the cooperation and vigilance of the public in combating fraudulent activities.
