Following a courtesy call on His Majesty the King by Reverend Park and his wife on Wednesday, the king and Inkhosikati LaNgangaza honoured an invitation to the mission’s church in Busan.

The mission has been working in Eswatini for about 10 years now and it has established an IYF branch at Two Sticks in Manzini. Addressing the church,

His Majesty said that even though he had wished to visit the university and school in person, he was grateful for the presentation made to the Eswatini delegation at the church.

“What we take back is your desire to see Emaswati take part in both.”We will encourage them to participate. We are happy to learn that some emaSwati are doing practicals here.

We would like to see many more join them, especially for the advanced experience they provide,” he said.

His Majesty appreciated the invitation to the church, saying making God and Jesus his last stop in Korea was a good reminder that in anything we do, we should always remember that God is our source.

The King said Reverend Park is no stranger to Eswatini or Africa where he is wing a good ambassador for his country.

“On many occasions, he has come to administer the word of God. I would also invite him during our services and he would do a great job.

During these visits, he would on many occasions ask me to visit Korea, so I am glad that on this day we have been able to honour Rev Park with such a visit,” he said.

His Majesty also extended his appreciation for the work of IYF in Eswatini, noting that it is currently building a music school and that a member of the royal family has benefitted from their training to perform with them.
He said he is looking forward to many more talented emaSwati benefiting from this training.

“This is why we are grateful to the president for the 2024 Korea-Africa Summit where we got to share experiences and create partnerships.

Many leaders participated and benefitted from learning about the Korean experience which is country that comes from humble beginnings to one of the most developed in just 60 years.

This has been a result of hard work and dedication. We congratulate the president and the people of Korea for this success story. Africa is ready to receive and partner with Korea,” he said.

The king thanked the choir for its performance, especially for singing in SiSwati, noting however, that when he greeted the group they couldn’t understand him, much to the laughter of the congregation.

“This shows that God is good and anything is possible with Him. Even if you do ot understand a language, but through God it is possible to sing in it fluently. We are also glad to see a full church and pray that God will touch you always,” he said.

The king promised to always place Rev Park in prayers to help him continue with the work of the mission and change lives.

Meanwhile, His Majesty accompanied by InkhosikatinLaNgangaza arrived in Singapore for the second leg of his travel.
