State Owned Entities (SOEs) continue to plough back into the economy by awarding tenders to companies for different services, and over E1 million worth of tenders were awarded by the Eswatini Civil Aviation Authority (ESWACAA) to two companies for different services on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.
This is according to the Eswatini Public Procurement Regulatory Agency (ESPPRA) website which stated that the tenders were disbursed to different companies in accordance with Section 45 of the Public Procurement Act No 7 of 2011, following a competitive bidding process.

ESWACAA awarded E477,588.16 to SERECO Radio, a Swati company for the supply and delivery of portable and mobile VHF and UHF transceiver units for the company.
VHF are radios with lower frequencies and longer wavelengths, making them ideal for work across wide areas free from obstruction and outdoor use.
UHF radios operate at a higher frequency that is reportedly ideally suited for wireless communications that need to penetrate buildings, walls, concrete, and other barriers.
