The Inyatsi Schools Arts and Culture Competitions concluded on a high note on Thursday at Somhlolo National Stadium, with a joyous and spectacular display of talent as schools from across Eswatini’s four regions competed for the top honours.

The competition has been hailed as one of the biggest school competitions in the country. They were significantly boosted by a generous sponsorship from Inyatsi Group Holdings, under their corporate social arm, Inyatsi Foundation.

Inyatsi Foundation contributed E500 000, while the Eswatini Network of Women injected E150 000 and Imisebe Publishers added E50 000.

This substantial financial backing transformed the competition, which elevated its stature and impact.

Throughout the competitions, several schools battled fiercely for the ultimate prizes, captivating the audience with their performances.

The President of the Eswatini Schools Arts and Culture Association, Ronnie Gamedze, expressed immense gratitude for the sponsorship from Inyatsi Foundation and the other sponsors.

Drum Majorattes were thrilling.

“The impact of this sponsorship is huge. With a continued relationship with Inyatsi, we are planning to have even bigger competitions in the future,” Gamedze said.

The competition also provided significant business opportunities for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Vendors enjoyed a field day, with vibrant stalls and bustling interactions.

Inyatsi Group Holdings Public Relations and Marketing Manager, Ncobile Dlamini, praised the business impact of the games, noting that the affordable stall fee of E500.00 facilitated active participation from local vendors.

Dlamini also commended the support from emaSwati, encouraging continued engagement with the competitions.

“These games have not only showcased the immense talent within our schools but also stimulated local businesses. We are thrilled with the turnout and the positive impact on the community,” she remarked
