God bless Amandla Nyamane, God bless poetry! Poet Amandla, the maestro of words, multi-award-winning, showcased his talent in a mesmerizing debut One Man Show that left the audience in awe.
Held at the Agape Ministries International, the event was a gathering of poetry enthusiasts and art aficionados who came together to witness Amandla’s poetic prowess.
The venue was abuzz with excitement as Amandla took to the stage, captivating the audience with his stirring verses and powerful delivery.
The event featured a lineup of talented poets from near and far, each bringing their unique voice and perspective to the stage.

From the soulful verses of South African poet Ayanda Art to the thought-provoking words of Khayelihle the Poet, also from South Africa, the audience was treated to a diverse range of poetic expressions.
Local poets Thenjiwe, Slot Maziya, and M Age added their flair to the evening, weaving tales of love, struggle, and triumph through their words.
Comedian King Mora brought a touch of humour to the proceedings, lightening the mood and eliciting laughter from the crowd.
In a post-show interview, Amandla expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support he received. “The show was a success beyond my wildest dreams,” he said.
“The energy in the room was electric, and I am grateful to everyone who came out to support me.”
Amandla also took a moment to thank his fellow poets and artists for their camaraderie and inspiration.
“I am humbled by the talent and creativity of my fellow poets,” he said. “Their presence added a richness and depth to the show that I will never forget.”
As the show curtained, the audience left the venue inspired and uplifted, their hearts full of the beauty and power of words.
Amandla’s One-Man Show had been a triumph, a celebration of art and unity that will be remembered for years to come.

Amandla further appreciated established poets who graced the event just to support him, not to perform. “I saw Anthonimass, Dede, and Silent Words among others who bought tickets just to support me.
That did not go unnoticed. I am humbled by their mature gesture,” he said.
He further appreciated the international artists who did not come up with exaggerated figures but supported him just to see his One Man Show successful.
“I am short of words. There was flavour and different styles which made the audience happier,” he said.
