Manzini Wanderers won’t go down without a fight.

The hub giants have since appealed the Eswatini Football Association (EFA) Disciplinary Committee’s decision to dismiss their protest against Denver Sundowns Jimoh Moses.

This follows a ruling issued by DC Chairman Thulani Sibandze on Monday evening at Sigwaca House.

EFA DC Committee Chairman Thulani Nsibandze stated that the Ministry of Home Affairs should be entirely blamed for the matter for issuing Moses a work permit on May 20, 2024, three months after the initial application.

Nsibandze further stated that the applicant had a right to appeal the match as they would soon issue a written verdict.

The ‘Weslians’ had lodged a protest where they claimed that Moses played as a defaulter during their last match of the 2023/24 MTN Premier League clash played at Somhlolo National Stadium on May 19, 2024.

The Wanderers lost the match by 4-2 and they were relegated to the National First Division League.
Wanderers board of Governor Bongani ‘Bhanyaza’ Mdluli confirmed the latest update.
