The Confederation of Southern African Taekwondo Association ( COSATA) President Moshoeshoe Molape believes that the Next Generation championship is a good platform for Taekwondo artists in the region to showcase their talent.

The President said this during the fourth edition of the international championships held at St John Bosco Skills Centre Hall on Saturday.

“The competition has continued to grow over the years. It further allows our artist to showcase their talent and further prepare for major international competitions,” he said.

COSATA president Mosheshoe Molape during the 2024 Next Generation held on Saturday at Bosco Skills Centre.

The African Taekwondo Union Technical Committee member further commended the Eswatini Taekwondo Federation for organizing such an important event.

“Kudos to ETF for putting together such an important event that has united many regional countries,” he said.

Meanwhile, Eswatini Taekwondo Federation (ETF)President Zakhele Dlamini thanked the regional body for supporting them.

“We are grateful for the support of COSATA and we thank our region counterpart for attending the event in numbers,” he said.

The tournament was attended by several regional countries such as Zimbabwe, South Africa, Lesotho, Mozambique and Botswana, among others.
