The Imbube marathon is back with a bang.
The flagship race is far bankrolled with a prize purse of over E400 000.
Standard Bank is once again the main sponsor of the race with E350 000.
Old Mutual have contributed E75 000 towards the prestigious road race making the current purse to E425 000.

The race is scheduled to take place on October 6, 2024, at Somhlolo National Stadium.
The sponsorship was unveiled during the launch of the sixth edition held at Happy Valley Hotel on Monday.
Eswatini National Provident Fund Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Futhi Tembe thanked sponsors for their continued support of the race.

“We are grateful for the support of the sponsors and the race continued to be bigger and better,” she said.
Meanwhile, Standard Bank CEO Mvuselelo Fakudze said they were happy to be part of the race.
“We are quite excited to be part of this great initiative. We will continue to support it,” he said.

South African runner Siphamandla Nkosi is the defending champion of the race after winning the 2023 race.
Early registration is now open on the race website www.imbube marathon.com until July 26, 2024.
The second registration will open between July 27 and August 27 2024.
Late registration will open between August 24 and September 22, 2024.
Manual registration can be done in all ENPF branches around the country.
