His Majesty King Mswati III has received letters of credence from the new High Commissioner of the Kingdom of Lesotho, His Excellency Ntsime Jafeta, and the High Commissioner of the Republic of Uganda, His Excellency Paul Amoru.
Upon receiving the credentials, King Mswati III warmly welcomed the new High Commissioners and assured them of Eswatini’s continued support in strengthening bilateral relations.
To His Excellency Ntsime Jafeta of Lesotho, His Majesty King Mswati III expressed heartfelt sentiments of companionship and cooperation, stating, “We value our good friendship, cooperation, and ties that exist between our two countries.”

The King also addressed His Excellency Paul Amoru of Uganda, where he extended his congratulations to Uganda for the successful hosting of recent summits in Kampala.
“We congratulate Uganda for successfully hosting the recent two summits which were held in Kampala. The declaration made during the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit represented our aspirations, and we can work together, especially because most of us are from developing countries,” he said.
His Excellency Ntsime Jafeta acknowledged the need to revitalize the bilateral relations between Lesotho and Eswatini.
He said that the relationship between the two countries needs to be revived and strengthened.
“We acknowledge the relations between our countries have been a bit dormant and thus need to be revived.
We need to work jointly to explore viable areas of collaboration that will contribute to the advancement of both our economies and subsequently the lives of our people,” he stated.
Echoing similar sentiments, His Excellency Paul Amoru emphasized the importance of deepening the cordial relations between Eswatini and Uganda.

“I commit to do my best with your Majesty and your Government to deepen further the cordial relations between the Kingdom of Eswatini and the Republic of Uganda.
