The Ministry of Home Affairs has taken decisive action following the recent discovery of alleged issuance of illegal documents and involvement of officials in corrupt practices.

In a statement issued by the Ministry’s Communication Officer, Mlandvo Dlamini, it was announced that four officials have been suspended pending further investigations and disciplinary hearings.

The Ministry has emphasized that internal investigations are ongoing, and any individuals found to be engaged in corrupt practices will be held accountable and face appropriate action.

“The Ministry is resolute in its commitment to root out corruption at all levels and will leave no stone unturned in pursuit of a corruption-free environment that serves the best interests of the citizens and upholds the rule of law,” said Dlamini.

To ensure a thorough and impartial investigation, the Ministry of Home Affairs said that it will continue to cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies and relevant authorities.

Dlamini said the primary goal is to uncover the truth, hold those responsible accountable, and take necessary steps to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.

Moreover, the Ministry has assured the public that updates on the progress of the investigations and any subsequent actions will be provided.
