Deputy Prime Minister, Thulisile Dladla, disclosed on the sidelines of a tour by Serbia’s First Lady Tamara Vučić that 20 houses constructed by the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office (DPMO) have been funded by the Serbian First Lady.

Dladla spoke about the various initiatives that Her Majesty the Queen Mother is involved in, highlighting the strengthened bilateral relations between Serbia and Eswatini.

“The construction of these 20 houses, generously funded by the Serbian First Lady, is a testament to the growing partnership between our nations,” said Dladla.

“This collaboration has also greatly benefitted 40 emaSwati students, who have received scholarships, thanks to the robust relations fostered by Their Majesties.”

Dladla emphasised the significance of the First Lady’s visit, explaining that Tamara Vučić is on a mission from the Serbian President to explore further ways to enhance these bilateral ties.

“The First Lady’s tour of various projects led by Her Majesty the Queen Mother Indlovukazi is an important step in identifying new avenues for cooperation and support,” Dladla added.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed her gratitude towards Their Majesties for establishing such valuable international connections, which continue to yield tangible benefits for the people of Eswatini.

First Lady tours Eswatini, enjoys a tour of Embiveni Meat Industries

The Serbian First Lady, DPM, Cabinet Minister, official and Embiveni Meat Industries Management.

The Republic of Serbia’s First Lady, Tamara Vučić, kicked off her visit to Eswatini with a tour of Embiveni Meat Industries, where she shared some laughs and engaged with local officials.

During her visit to Embiveni, the First Lady was accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister Thulisile Dladla,

Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Pholile Shakantu, Minister of Tourism and Environmental Affairs Jane Mkhonta, Hhohho Regional Administrator Princess Tsandzile, Eswatini Ambassador to Belgium Sibusisiwe Mngomezulu, EU officials, and other notable dignitaries.

Matsapha Town Board CEO, Lucky Sukati, provided the First Lady with an overview of the town, highlighting its key features and the significance of Embiveni Meat Industries.

Eswatini Meat Industries, known for its world-class meat production, exports its products to Europe and is accredited to sell in European Union countries.

During the factory tour, the First Lady was given an in-depth look at the operations and processes involved in preparing their meat products

….. Receives warm Eswatini welcome at Biotechnology Park

The Republic of Serbia’s First Lady was greeted with a warm welcome by the Lutsango regiment at the Biotechnology Park in Nokwane.

The First Lady immersed herself in Eswatini culture, enjoying traditional regalia displays and receiving a heartfelt reception.

The visit included a comprehensive presentation of Eswatini’s significant projects by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology. Additionally, the First Lady was introduced to the impressive initiatives spearheaded by Her Majesty Indlovukazi.

Ligcabho LaMhlekazi’s Sibongile Ndwandwe presented the First Lady with gifts on behalf of the exhibitors, including a lihiya, ligcebesha, and a bag, among other items.

Sibusiso Dlamini of Eswatini Secrets provided an informative overview of the institution’s marula products, which are renowned for their quality and exported internationally.
