By Thokozani Mazibuko

IN a shocking turn of events at the Manzini Magistrate Court on Monday, Advocate Mduduzi Tsotsi Mabila revealed disturbing allegations of collusion and threats implicating a police officer and other South African

government officials in the ongoing extradition case of the accused killers of South African Hip-hop Artist Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA.

The accused individuals, Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande, found themselves at the centre of a legal storm as Mabila raised concerning claims before Principal Magistrate David Vusi Khumalo.

Mabila did not mince words as he detailed the grave accusations of threats of death levelled against the accused by a police officer allegedly colluding with government officials.

The scope of the threats extended beyond the accused themselves, with Mabila disclosing that even the mother of one of the accused had been targeted with similar intimidations by the said police officer.

These revelations shed light on the dark underbelly of the case, unveiling a web of corruption and coercion that threatens to overshadow the legal proceedings.

Before the court, Mabila made a compelling plea for a postponement of the case, citing the urgent need for an oral evidence trial to substantiate the allegations of collusion and threats.

The gravity of the situation and the potential risks posed to the accused and their families demanded a thorough investigation and a transparent examination of the claims put forth by Mabila.
