Principal Magistrate Fikile Nhlabatsi was breathing fire when presiding over a case of abuse by a 59-year-old man.
Nhlabatsi advised the elderly couple to either seek counseling or go their separate ways instead of resorting to violence.

“You cannot be beating your wife at this time of your marriage it is not right,” said Nhlabatsi.
Solomon Dlamini was charged with the offence of contravening section 77 (1) (a) of the sexual offences and domestic violence act 15/2018.
That on July 18, 2024, while at Mantabeni area in the Hhohho region, the said accused person did unlawfully and intentionally physically abuse one Ntombemhlophe Dlamini, being a wife to the accused thus contravened the said Act.
He was fined E5000 or 5 years imprisonment with half the sentence suspended on the condition he is never found guilty of the same offence.
