The Mbabane Swallows power struggle is far from being over.

This follows the club’s decision to suspend six officials ahead of their CAF Champions League preliminary first-leg clash against Ferraviaro on Friday at Lucas Moripe Stadium in Tshwane.

The suspended officials include four elders Enock Nkosi, Cyprian Ginindza, Sibusiso Gwebu and Mduduzi Msane.

Also suspended are two former officials in Khaya Vilakati and Bongani Dlamini.

The struggle started after the appointment of Princess Lungile as the club Chairperson by a faction of the Elders.

The six officers have been summoned to a Disciplinary hearing to be chaired by former Motshane member of Parliament Robert Magongo at a date and venue still to be confirmed.

Other members of the DC include Starsky Mvubu, Jabu Ngubane, Jabulani Simelane and Thabiso Fakudze ( Prosecutor).

Swallows acting President Absalom Ngwenya confirmed the news through a press statement.

“We have decided to appoint a Disciplinary Committee (DC), as a deterrent, to curb the proven interference with stakeholders and the continued perpetration of disorder within the club,” he said.

Ngwenya said the DC aims to protect the image of the team.

“The DC will serve to protect the club and its stakeholders from acts of intimidation and harassment and will meet out necessary punishment related to disorderly conduct,

and other such conduct as may be found to bring the club into disrepute,” Ngwenya said.
