THE Ludzidzini Royal Residence was a hive of spectacular activity when Imbali adorned their finest regalia and showed off the beauty of the Swati culture.
This was during the final and major day of the Umhlanga festival, which has been running for 7 days. The over 50,000 maidens sashayed and showed off their well-choreographed dances to their Majesties.

Having started entering the arena around 1:00 pm, the young girls seemed energetic, hyped, and super ready to marvel at guests and His Majesty King Mswati III.
There was a burst of colour in the arena as Imbali adorned different coloured regalia; Lutsango also sampled different textures and coloured ‘Mahiya.
’ It was altogether a spectacular moment to witness, which marks a pivotal and paramount time in the culture of Eswatini.
King Misuzulu pays a courtesy call to His MajestyÂ
Ahead of the final dance, the main day, King Misuzulu kaZwelithini arrived at Ludzidzini Royal Residence to pay a courtesy visit to King Mswati III.
The Zulu King has been in the country since the opening of the Eswatini International Trade Fair (EITF)Â
There was an exciting moment at the Ludzidzini Royal Residence Arena as His Majesty King Mswati III, accompanied by His Majesty King Misizulu kaZwelethini and former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, performed kudlalisela.

International guests and members of the public also went off the hook when uNdlunkulu Nomzamo KaMyeni, wife to Amazulu King Misuzulu KaZwelithini, came to witness the final and main day of this year’s Umhlanga ceremony.Â
Maidens from her kingdom gave splendid displays of unity, pride, and joy as they joined Imbali.
