French Legend Thierry Henry’s historic visit to Eswatini has been shifted by a day.
The former Arsenal and Barcelona striker is expected to arrive in the country on Monday with Nigerian counterpart Yakubu Ayegbeni.
The two were supposed to land on Sunday through the King Mswati III International Airport.
The duo’s visit is facilitated by the Prince Majaha Foundation.

The foundation CEO Njobo Nkosi confirmed the changes.
“We are now expecting our visitors to arrive in the country on Monday through the King Mswati III International Airport,” he said
Henry was part of the French National team that won the 1998 FIFA World Cup and 2006 Euro championships.
He was part of the Arsenal team that last won the English Premiership in 2004 without a defeat under the guidance of Arsene Wenger.
Henry ventured into coaching and recently led the French Under 23 side during the 2024 Olympic Games.

Ayegbeni has played for several English sides such as Blackburn Rovers, Middlesbrough, Leicester and Portsmouth, to mention a few.
He also had stints in Israel and China.
He has numerous caps for Nigeria in the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cup and the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations, among others.
