Members of the House of Assembly have expressed their appreciation for His Majesty King Mswati III’s unwavering commitment to attracting foreign investment into Eswatini.

During Thursday’s parliamentary sitting, Speaker of the House, Jabulani Mabuza, highlighted the King’s tireless efforts in fostering a favorable business environment in the country.

“We see that by the number of businesses which have already opened in the country,” Mabuza stated, pointing to the tangible results of the King’s endeavors.

He further noted the King’s visible presence in both urban and rural areas, stating, “His Majesty the King has truly inspired Emaswati as he has truly shown that he is a true leader with the best interests of the people of the country.”

Echoing the Speaker’s sentiments, MP Prince Mshengu affirmed that King Mswati III’s leadership is marked by integrity and dedication.

“Indeed, His Majesty the King is a man of his word,” he asserted, reinforcing the notion that the King’s actions are paving the way for economic growth.

Dvokodvweni MP Sifiso Shabalala characterized the King’s initiatives as historic, calling attention to the multifaceted approach taken to bolster the nation’s economy.

“When you see a Head of State and you see him doing what he is doing for the country, it leaves us with a responsibility to emulate him so that the country can develop,” stated Shabalala, urging fellow lawmakers to follow suit in their commitment to national progress.

Lubombo Regional MP Futhie Ngcamphalala also praised the King’s grassroots engagement, stating, “The Nation is happy when seeing the father and a leader of the country all over the place opening businesses and even spending time inside shops with staff.”

His comments came in the context of the King’s recent visits aimed at supporting local enterprises.

The tone of the session took a decisive turn when Lobamba Lomdzala MP Marwick Khumalo called for an end to “kindergarten politics and petty fights” within the government.

He emphasized the need for a unified front in supporting His Majesty King Mswati III’s vision for the nation.
It is worth mentioning that that as the parliamentarians continue to rally behind the King’s efforts, the sentiment is clear:

the road to sustained economic development in Eswatini is marked by collaboration, dedication, and a shared vision for progress.
