Eswatini Financial Times (EFT) expressed that the booming market in Taiwan has been made possible by the tireless work of His Majesty King Mswati III,

who has significantly strengthened relations with Taiwan, which he said resulted in the signing of a free trade agreement.

This agreement has been a catalyst for growth for various Eswatini businesses, with Embiveni Meat Industries reaping substantial benefits.

Mhlanga further highlighted the robust demand in the Taiwanese market, encouraging Eswatini farmers to increase cattle farming to meet this demand.

“The demand for our product in Taiwan is substantial. I urge emaSwati to start farming cattle. The demand is not only in Taiwan but also in markets like the UAE, where we plan to export soon.

Eswatini, Botswana, and Namibia are the only African countries certified to export to the EU, making it easier to access other markets.

We are preparing to send our first container to the UAE, replicating our success in Taiwan,” he stated.
