Today is a big day and vast milestone for the youth of Eswatini, as Dr. Ock Soo Park, co-founder of the Good News Mission and founder of the Gracias Choir and Orchestra, and the International Youth Fellowship (IYF), will officially open the International Youth Fellowship Eswatini Centre in Manzini, located in Two-Sticks.

The grand event will coincide with the annual Leaders’ Mindset Conference, a platform Dr. Park traditionally hosts to inspire leadership and growth in the Kingdom.

Dr. Park, a close ally of the Kingdom of Eswatini, is renowned for his work with the Good News Mission, a Christian movement he co-founded in Seoul, South Korea.

He has visited Eswatini on numerous occasions, where he has not only led conferences but also met with His Majesty King Mswati III to discuss youth development and educational initiatives.

The new IYF Centre in Manzini is a hub for youth empowerment, offering a wide range of vocational training programs.

These programs include agriculture, construction, education, and youth ministry and has been said to equip young people with essential skills to contribute to the Kingdom’s socio-economic growth.

The Centre also host Sunday services, which provides a spiritual home for the youth and local community.

Through volunteer orientations, workshops, and various development activities, the IYF Eswatini Centre aims to instill Christian values and practical skills, enhancing a new generation of leaders.

In a recent highlight, Dr. Park met with His Majesty King Mswati III during the 2024 South Korea-Africa Summit.

The King flanked by Inkhosikati LaNgangaza and Dr Park with his wife during the courtesy visit to the church.

During His Majesty’s visit to the Good News Mission in Busan, South Korea, a welcome ceremony and banquet were held in honour of the King. The event, hosted by Rev.

Dr. Park and the congregation of Busan Dayeon Church, celebrated the growing partnership between Eswatini and the International Youth Fellowship.

During the ceremony, His Majesty expressed his gratitude, stating, “I am pleased to conclude my journey in Korea with you all, and I hope that the cooperation between Eswatini and the International Youth Fellowship will further develop under God’s blessing.

” His Majesty expressed the importance of the collaboration between the Kingdom and the IYF, especially in the realm of youth education.
