A spirit of hope and ambition filled the air on Monday as the International Youth Fellowship (IYF) Eswatini Centre officially opened its doors in the quaint locale of Two Sticks, Zakhele in Manzini.

The prestigious event, attended by dignitaries and community leaders, featured Reverend Dr. Ock Soo Park, the esteemed Founder of Good News Mission, as the keynote speaker.

In an inspiring address, Dr Park recounted his first encounter with His Majesty King Mswati III during his initial visit to Eswatini, where the King expressed a profound interest in the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

“Your King loves the Lord Jesus dearly,” Dr. Park remarked, underscoring the monarch’s commitment to spiritual values.

Revisiting the memorable moment, Dr Park shared how he was invited to preach to the King, initially delivering a 30-minute sermon.

To his surprise, the King requested additional insights, leading to an engaging session that totalled three sermons.

“At 80 years of age, I can assure you that God is always with His Majesty King Mswati III and the entire nation of Eswatini,” he declared, instilling a sense of optimism among the attendees.

The IYF Eswatini Centre represents a significant investment in the country’s youth, aiming to cultivate education and a positive mindset among the younger generation.

Dr. Park emphasized that with such foundations, Eswatini could emerge as a leading nation on the global stage.
