In an exclusive interview, the brothers expressed their gratitude and enthusiasm for being invited back for the third consecutive year.
“It’s always great excitement when we receive the news that we should come play. 2024 is our third year, and we are very excited. Performing at an event for three years back-to-back is not easy.
We salute the Rebels for such a great heart for us,” they shared.
Their continued presence at the Rebel Africa Rally is a testament to their growing popularity and the trust that the Rebel Troops have in their musical prowess.
The Shepard Brothers emphasized the importance of such opportunities, particularly when performing outside their home country.
“Playing outside the country is very helpful as we get to play for larger crowds, bigger stages, share our own produced songs with the masses, and increase our network and fanbase. It even opens more opportunities for us,” they explained.
The Shepard Brothers are not only focused on their current performance but are also looking ahead to future events, with plans to perform in Witbank and Tzaneen soon.
“This is just so many endless benefits of playing outside the country,” they remarked, highlighting the potential for growth and exposure that these gigs bring.
Their journey in the music industry has been marked by the cultivation of international relationships, which they describe as the “ladder” to their success. “We just keep on putting and connecting the dots to move to the next point,” they said.

Having performed across various venues in Bikerville for years, the Shepard Brothers have developed a reputation for bringing an infectious energy to their shows.
However, they recognize the challenges that come with performing at the same event multiple times.
“Playing an event for the third time is challenging; we ended up touching and adding a few stunts just to bring in a new feeling.
We also have some of the new music we have arranged. It will be a good time for real,” they concluded.
