ROME, ITALY – Basotho King Letsie III paid a courtesy call to His Majesty King Mswati III at his residence hotel, Anantara Palazzo Naiadi here in Rome.
Both Their Majesties had earlier met at the FAO Headquarters where His Majesty the King delivered the keynote address at the 4th World Food Forum (WFF).

The Basotho King followed His Majesty on the podium where he also reflected on the progress and challenges the Basotho nation has made and faced to date.
The two Kingdoms enjoy very strong and cordial relations dating back to the reign of King Sobhuza II and King Moshoeshoe II.
Last week, the King sent Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini to represent him at the Basotho Double Celebration in Maseru.

After their bilateral meetings, Their Majesties had a private dinner together.
King Letsie III is expected to deliver the keynote address on Wednesday during World Food Day here in Rome.
