In a heartfelt and impassioned message delivered during the End-of-Year Prayer Service at Mandvulo Hall,

Her Majesty the Indlovukazi emphasized the importance of returning to the core tenets of faith and shunning idol worship during a gathering that brought together Christians from across Eswatini.

With His Majesty King Mswati III in attendance, the Indlovukazi urged the faithful to reaffirm their commitment to God, declaring, “Idol worshipping will get you nowhere and I advise you to return to God because the day for resurrection is near.”

Her words resonated deeply within the packed venue, filled with believers seeking spiritual renewal as the year ended.

Her Majesty addressed those who claim the mantle of prophecy, urging them to heed a warning: “If you are a prophet, I advise you to repent from your ways and stop giving false prophesies like the Prophets of Baal because you will be embarrassed one day by the Living God.”

Her remarks reflect a broader concern regarding authenticity and integrity in spiritual leadership, calling for true devotion and accountability among leaders.

In a powerful reminder of the futility of fleeing from divine authority, she referenced the biblical figure, Jonah, advising, “Do not run away from God; you cannot run away from God.

” This call for introspection was underscored by her exhortation to acknowledge and abandon sin: “What is sin, kills. Do not stay in sin; it is time for you to stop sinning and stop worshipping idols.”

Her Majesty Indlovukazi delivers a sermon at Mandvulo Hall on Monday.

Her Majesty proclaimed, “God is a jealous God,” reinforcing the belief that worship must be singular without the influence of other deities. She challenged the congregation to reflect:

“Can your idols speak?” It was a poignant invitation for the audience to evaluate the authenticity of their worship practices.

In her conclusion, the Indlovukazi encouraged emaSwati to embrace a worship style “in truth and spirit,” while drawing inspiration from Elijah, the Prophet’s spirit.
