Impeccable sources have disclosed to Eswatini Daily News (EDN) that the man stabbed the woman several times, all over the body.
“He then stabbed himself countless times but just couldn’t die in the process and police arrived and transported both of them to the Raleigh Fitkin Memorial Hospital (RFM) in Manzini,” revealed the source on Tuesday.

The tragic events unfolded in the early hours of Monday, when the suspect, whose identity has yet to be disclosed, reportedly launched a violent attack on his 32-year-old girlfriend inside their rented flat.
Sources revealed that the neighbours heard the woman screaming and crying out for help as the attack took place.
“Despite her desperate pleas, no one in the vicinity responded to the alarm raised by the deceased,” highlighted the source.
It is said that when police arrived at the scene around 2:15 a.m., they found the boyfriend lying on the floor, covered in blood and inflicting wounds on himself.
Paramedics quickly transported the woman to RFM Hospital, but she was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Senior Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, Chief Police Information and Communication Officer, confirmed the details of the case.
