This past weekend, Baka Ngwane was proudly showcased at the EU Film Festival Lesotho in Maseru, hosted by the Alliance Française de Maseru.
The event was a perfect blend of art, culture, and knowledge-sharing, bringing together film enthusiasts, industry professionals, and fans of African storytelling.
We were honored to have our lead cast present: Mandisa Mamba as the fierce Queen Qhoshile and Samukelo Dlamini as the commanding King Matalatala.

Representing the crew, Producer Sibusiso ‘Sparks’ Dlamini and Director Shaft Moropane added their creative insights.
The screening began with an engaging workshop, where we shared the behind-the-scenes magic of filmmaking and the journey of producing Baka Ngwane.
The cast opened about their experiences portraying their characters, offering a unique glimpse of the hard work and passion that brought the story to life.
The feedback was overwhelming! Viewers praised the film’s authentic storytelling, stunning visuals, and powerful performances.
