Eswatini’s immensely gifted vocalist, Ntsetse Musician, has once again made headlines by securing the Zikomo Africa Award for his hit single ‘Jabula Nami.’
This honour comes on the heels of his recent triumph at the Shinning Star Awards, where he was awarded the coveted Video of the Year Award.
Ntsetse’s achievements not only emphasise his exceptional artistry but also highlight the burgeoning influence of Eswatini’s music on the international stage.

The Zikomo Africa Awards, renowned for celebrating the diverse contributions of artists across the continent, brought together a vibrant array of musical talent from various countries.
In an exclusive interview following his monumental win, Ntsetse shared his heartfelt gratitude and excitement.
“It’s truly a great honour for me to be recognised in such a prestigious manner. To win an international accolade outside of the country against other top talents means something huge to me,” the multi-award-winning singer expressed.
“I feel ecstatic, I’m over the moon,” he continued, reflecting on the magnitude of his accomplishment. “I sometimes reach a point of being speechless about such an achievement.
Honestly, I never doubted myself because I believe in my craft, but this victory has just taken my confidence and excitement to a whole new level.”
Ntsetse’s words resonate with aspiring artists, serving as an inspirational reminder of the potential that lies within hard work and perseverance.
The significance of the Zikomo Africa Awards extends beyond individual accolades; it is a celebration of unity and diversity within the African music landscape.
“This is an International Awards Ceremony that brings together artists from different countries into one epic night of celebrating and honouring talents in different categories.

When something is international, it’s surely big,” Ntsetse remarked.
Winning the Video of the Year award underscores the critical role of high-quality production in today’s music industry. Ntsetse emphasized, “It is very important for artists to have good quality videos to bring that much-needed international recognition.
Premium quality videos are more than capable of breaking national boundaries and attracting international recognition, thus helping artists to grow exponentially.”
The support and love from his fans did not go unnoticed during his journey to success. “I appreciate everyone who voted for me.
Your votes together with your prayers are what made me who I am now—an international award-winning artist,” he expressed.
He also extended his gratitude to those who wished to vote but were unable to do so, stating, “Even those who wished to vote but never managed to do so but prayed for me, I extend my deepest appreciation to all of you guys. You are all family.”
