Ministry of Foreign Affairs unveils 2025 International scholarship opportunities for emaSwati

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has recently released a comprehensive list of international scholarship opportunities for 2025, targeting students from Eswatini.

These scholarships aim to provide access to higher education programs at the undergraduate, master’s, and PhD levels, enabling talented individuals to pursue academic excellence in reputable institutions across the globe.

The scholarships are part of a major initiative to strengthen educational ties with various countries and enhance academic growth for aspiring students.

Among the notable opportunities is the Mauritius-Africa Scholarship Scheme 2025, with an application deadline set for April 23, 2025. This scholarship covers undergraduate, master’s, and PhD programs.

pplicants are required to complete their university applications online and submit their university acceptance letters along with an application form to the Ministry of Labour and Social Security for endorsement.

Other prominent scholarships include the Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship for Foreign Students, the Türkiye Burslari Scholarships, and Taiwan-funded programs such as the ICDF Taiwan Scholarship and the MOFA Taiwan Scholarship.

These are the available opportunities.

The Brunei scholarship closes on February 15, 2025, and offers various programs requiring online applications. Information about the program can be accessed via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brunei.

The Türkiye Burslari Scholarships, with a deadline of February 20, 2025, also provide extensive options for higher education, accessible through an online application process.

The ICDF Taiwan Scholarship, ending on March 14, 2025, requires applicants to submit their forms online and then deliver completed applications to the Embassy of Taiwan in Mbabane.

The MOFA Taiwan Scholarship, with a March 31, 2025 deadline, involves similar application steps but includes a specific stipulation to submit the documents before 12:00 pm.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in a statement, encouraged eligible candidates to take advantage of these opportunities to enhance their academic and professional prospects.
