The University of Eswatini (UNESWA) has reported that the end-of-semester examinations are proceeding smoothly across all campuses, despite its financial hurdles.
The institution has been making headlines with endless strikes of staff due to unpaid salaries and failure to pay for utilities like electricity and water.
But despite that, the institution is having something positive which is its smooth examination.

A visit to the Kwaluseni, Luyengo, and Mbabane campuses revealed that students were sitting for their exams without major challenges.
The university has put all necessary measures in place to ensure a conducive environment for assessments.
These include timely availability of exam materials, adequate invigilation, and adherence to the university’s academic calendar.
Third-year Bachelor of Commerce student who asked to comment on condition of anonymity expressed relief that the examinations were progressing without any complications.
“I was really worried at first because there were a lot of rumors that exams might be postponed or canceled due to logistical issues.
But I am happy that everything is going well, and the exam halls are well-organized,” the student said.
Another student, Nomfundo Simelane, who is enrolling at Luyengo campus, highlighted the efficiency of the invigilation process.
“The supervisors have been very helpful, and everything is running according to schedule. I have not experienced any issues, and I am grateful for that because exams are already stressful enough without having to worry about technical problems,” she said.
