On Tuesday, the first day of the new school year, the Minister of Education and Training, Owen Nxumalo, visited Manzini Nazarene High School, delivering an inspiring message to students and teachers alike.
His presence marked a significant start to the academic year, emphasizing the importance of education and responsible decision-making among the youth.

“Each of you has a unique potential that is unlocked daily,” he said. He encouraged students to make wise choices, cautioning against the perils of destructive behaviours such as gang involvement and drug abuse.
“Surround yourself with positive influences and seek out mentors in the community who will guide you towards success,” Nxumalo advised, emphasizing the importance of a supportive network in their journey toward personal and academic growth.
The Minister also commended the students on their achievements in extra-curricular activities, encouraging them to continue channeling their energy into sports, the arts, and academics.
He emphasized that such engagements build a strong foundation for teamwork and collaboration, essential skills for their future endeavors.
