ADDIS ABABA, ETHIOPIA: Inkhosikati LaMahlangu on Sunday joined other spouses
of the African leaders under the bannner of the Organisation of African First Ladies
for Development (OAFLAD).
Inkhosikati was in Ethiopia accompanying His Majesty King Mswati III, who attended
the 38th African Union Summit.

The meeting for the first ladies was held at the old African Union Building on Sunday
morning.

This is an annual gathering that happens on the sidelines of the annual African Union Summit, which was held on Saturday ending on Sunday.Â

It was the 29th session wherein the first ladies discussed a number of issues pertaining to the
development of the African continent, among other topics.
On Saturday, the first ladies also held elections where the Sierra Leone First lady was elected as chairperson, taking over from the Namibian First Lady.
