In a commendable show of community spirit, eBet Eswatini has teamed up with the Mbabane Municipality to provide vital assistance to over 800 needy individuals in the region.

The cheque was received by the Minister of Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Mary Jane Mkhonta-Simelane and the management of the Mbabane Municipality.

According to eBet Eswatini’s Chief Executive Officer, Bongi Lukhele, this partnership aims to address food insecurity by sponsoring six soup kitchens that collectively serve 1, 600 meals each day.

As part of its broader commitment to uplifting the citizens of Eswatini, eBet Eswatini has pledged to contribute E2 220 000 over the next three years to ensure that vulnerable community members have access to nutritious meals.

This initiative is part of eBet’s ongoing mission to support local projects that empower and enrich the lives of the people of Eswatini.

The soup kitchens, run by the Mbabane Municipal Council, are designed to provide two meals daily to those in need, an initiative that illustrates eBet’s commitment to social responsibility.

In addition to its contributions to food security, eBet Eswatini has actively engaged in sponsoring local sports teams, backing educational programs, and supporting community-driven projects.
