8Bet has invested over E400,000 in the underserved kaMbhokwe community, impacting the lives of over 350 pupils and numerous elderly residents.
The initiative has not only provided essential school shoes to students at St. Anthony’s Anglican Primary School but also ensured that the elderly have access to much-needed meals.
In an inspiring distribution event, 8Bet presented 350 pairs of school shoes, valued at approximately E400,000, to delighted students.
The shoes will provide these young learners with the comfort and confidence needed as they walk to school every day.

This generous act was met with overwhelming gratitude from the community, particularly from elderly residents who expressed their deep appreciation for the support.
One elderly resident, a grandmother who wished to remain anonymous, shared her feelings: “I last ate something like food with my grandchildren three days ago, and I am shocked that 8Bet came at the right time.
The situation in this small community is far worse, and we ask God to bless this company for coming through for us in this far remote area.”

Mlungisi Khumalo, the Legal Representative for 8Bet, emphasized the company’s policy of reaching out to the needy and vulnerable populations in Eswatini.
He took the occasion to encourage the elderly in attendance to embrace faith and spirituality, advising them to receive the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation.
“I am very honored to be here and to offer these young future leader’s shoes and essential food to our elderly,” Khumalo stated during the distribution event.
His words resonated with many, highlighting the importance of community support and the need for corporate responsibility.

It is worth mentioning that as more companies are encouraged to follow 8Bet’s example, the kaMbhokwe community can look forward to a brighter future filled with opportunity and support,
showcasing the power of compassion and collective responsibility in uplifting the vulnerable.
