How to Activate 5G and check if your Phone is 5G Capable

  1. Enabling 5G
  • Go to Settings > Network & Internet (or Connections).
  • Tap on Mobile Network.
  • Look for Preferred network type or similar options.
  • Select 5G or 5G/4G/3G/2G Auto.
  1. Restart Your Phone
  • After enabling 5G, you may need to restart your phone to ensure the settings take effect.
  1. Check Network Connection
  • Once your phone restarts, check the status bar for a 5G icon. If it appears, you are connected to a 5G network.
  1. For better device performance always make sure your phone’s software is up to date. Go to Settings > Software Update and install any available updates.

Customers can also contact customer service line, 980 if they are unable to check themselves if their phone model is eligible for 5G. It is important to always remember that for now our 5G is only available in the Matsapha and Manzini corridor
