His Majesty King Mswati III on Saturday hitched a train ride from Mpaka Railway Station to Mlawula Nature Reserve.
In a moment that showed the nation’s rich heritage and commitment to nature conservation, His Majesty arrived in regal style by train from Mpaka Railway Station, accompanied by Emakhosikati and Emazinyane.
His grand entrance at Mlawula Railway Station was met with warmth and respect from a distinguished gathering that included Hon.

Jane Mkhonta-Simelane, the Minister of Tourism and Environmental Affairs, as well as the Board of Commissioners and management of the Eswatini National Trust Commission (ENTC).
The day’s events commenced with a tour of the newly refurbished SARA Camp chalets. These modernized accommodations promise to elevate the experience for nature enthusiasts, offering a seamless blend of comfort and the beauty of Eswatini’s lush landscapes.
Following the tour, His Majesty embarked on a scenic game drive through the reserve, with the picturesque Magadzavane Lodge as his destination.

During the drive, His Majesty was briefed on the ongoing bush clearing operations an initiative designed to improve wildlife visibility and enhance the safari experience for visitors.
