His Majesty King Mswati III visited the ongoing development at the Hlane Reptile Park, a major project designed to boost tourism in the region.

With a projected cost of E25 million, the park founded by Prince Scalo is currently in its early stages, having already invested E5 million.

The project has provided employment for 40 people, including artisans, labourers, and specialists, as part of its first phase.

During the visit, the King was shown some of the completed rooms in the park, which are part of the first phase of the three-phase development.

The Hlane Reptile Park aims to attract both domestic and international tourists, offering a unique experience that combines accommodation, a corporate conference center, and, of course, the reptile park itself.

The final phase of the project, which will introduce the reptile exhibits, is eagerly anticipated. The King had the opportunity to view some of the snakes that will be housed in the park, providing a glimpse into the future attractions that will make the park a premier destination for tourists.

“This project is an exciting development for the tourism sector,” His Majesty remarked during his tour.

“The combination of a conference facility, accommodation, and the reptile exhibits will offer visitors an unforgettable experience.”
