This led to the national team honouring the recent 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon and Mauritius without an assistant Coach.

Seasoned coach Anthony Mdluli served as goalkeeper coach despite being reportedly recommended as an assistant by Logarusic.

A source close to the matter revealed that talks between Manyatsi and the Association Technical Committee are ongoing.
