“It is truly an honor to be here today, representing Maloma Colliery, as we make this meaningful contribution to Nkonjwa Primary School.
As a company deeply rooted in this community, we believe that education is the foundation of a brighter future.
But it is disheartening to see young children—our future leaders—forced to sit on the floor, writing on their laps, struggling to learn in conditions that no child should have to endure.
” She noted that the cold weather further exacerbates the situation, making it even harder for learners to concentrate.
She underlined that the donation was a means to restore dignity and create an environment where children could learn with pride and comfort.

Ginindza further highlighted that Maloma Colliery operates with core values of agility, accountability, commitment, teamwork, and embracing change.
“Agility allows us to respond to the needs of our community. Accountability ensures that we take responsibility for making a positive impact beyond mining.
Commitment is at the heart of our efforts to invest in the future of our children. Teamwork enables us to work hand-in-hand with schools and communities for sustainable development.
Embracing change means finding new ways to uplift and support education for the next generation,” she elaborated.
She extended her gratitude to the teachers for their dedication and reassured the students that Maloma Colliery believes in their potential, urging the community to continue working together for a better future.
