His Majesty King Mswati III has called on emaSwati to turn to God in prayer, asking for healing, peace, and a return of hope—not just for Eswatini, but for the whole world.

The King was delivering a heartfelt sermon during the Easter Sunday Service held at Somhlolo National Stadium, where thousands gathered to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

He was joined by Her Majesty the Indlovukazi, Emakhosikati, government dignitaries, and representatives from churches across the country.

“We pray today for the Swati Nation,” the King said. “We pray for those who are sick and in pain, that God may bless each and every one in the country and across the world.”

His Majesty expressed concern over the growing darkness in the world, conflict, confusion, and violence that have led many to lose hope.

He said the solution lies in returning to God, staying in His presence, and remaining faithful.

“There are killings everywhere. Peace and fellowship have faded. As emaSwati, let us pray that God restores hope in Eswatini, in Africa, and across the globe,” the King said.

His Majesty urged that the Word of God, as it was preached in the stadium, should not remain within its walls.

He encouraged believers to carry the message beyond Eswatini’s borders and into the world.

“Akatsintse nalabangalitfoli livi lenkhosi, kutsi livi lelitawuphuma la stadium, litawutsintsa onkhe emaSwati, ngamunye ngamunye atsintseke, liphume livi lenkhosi.

Ngoba livi lenkhosi akukafaneli sibe nemona ngalo. Kufuna siphume silikhiphele ngephandle eveni.

Kufuna liphumele ngephandle e-Africa nemhlaba wonkhe, lapho kudzingeka Nkulunkulu khona kakhulu,” His Majesty said.

The King urged that the Word of God must not be met with jealousy. It must go beyond the stadium, across Africa and the entire world. It must touch every heart.

The King reminded the nation that any meaningful progress depends on faith. He revealed that 2025 has been declared a Year of Transformation, with plans to improve social welfare and bring real change to the lives of ordinary people.

But he warned that these plans would not succeed without a strong spiritual foundation.

“Jesus rose from the dead. He has risen in our hearts. I will not allow the devil to steal what has been given to us.

As a country, we believe this is our season of change, but it needs people with faith. Without God, we are only bringing curses on ourselves,” he said.

Her Majesty the Indlovukazi also took the opportunity to celebrate the moment of spiritual unity.

She said EmaSwati are blessed as a nation to be able to gather in such large numbers to praise and worship God. She noted that this is a rare opportunity in many countries.

“YeMaswati, maye sinenhlanhla. This nation is blessed,” she said. “We are gathered to remember the death and resurrection of our King.”

She added that if God were to return right now, He would find the Swati Nation ready.

“Ivukile Inkhosi Yamakhosi! The King of kings has risen—for me and you. Let us walk in His footsteps,” she said, as the stadium echoed with praise.

The Easter service brought a message of unity, faith, and vision for the future. His Majesty’s words reminded the nation that, while the world may be facing great trials, hope can be restored when people stand firm in prayer and believe in God’s promises.

As the sun set over Somhlolo, songs of resurrection echoed across the stadium, a powerful symbol of the faith and strength of the Swati people.
